By road:
We are situated on Longtail Hill (b5284), one mile south of Bowness-on- Windermere.
From the South and East:
From the M6 Junction 36 take the A591 towards Windermere. At the large roundabout take first left onto the B5284, signposted Hawkshead via Ferry and Crook. Continue along this road for 6 miles, passing Windermere Golf Club on your left, to the staggered crossroads at the junction with the A5074. Go straight across (left and then sharp right) onto Longtail Hill. Lindeth Howe is the first turning on the left, 150 metres down the hill.
From Scotland and the North East:
From the M6 Junction 40 take the A66 towards Keswick. Take either the A592 via Ullswater and Kirkstone Pass to Windermere or continue along the A66 to Threlkeld, then turn left through St Johns-in-the-Vale to Windermere on the A591, via Grasmere & Ambleside. At the junction of the A591 & A592 head south to Bowness Bay on the A592. Continue south out of Bowness on the A592 towards Newby Bridge & Barrow. After less than a mile there is a left fork onto the B5284 - Longtail Hill. Lindeth Howe is the last turning on the right, 300 metres up the hill.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations must be cancelled 2 days in advance of your arrival date.
In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
CHILD POLICY:

No pets are allowed in the hotel.
Children under 7 years are not allowed to eat dinner in the dining room with adults, but a separate Children's High Tea is available.
The dress code for the restaurant is smart/casual, so no jeans, shorts or trainers and men must wear a shirt with a collar.
When booking the Autumn 1/2 price offers, dinner must be purchased in the hotel on at least 1 night's stay at 34.95 gbp per person. If dinner is not taken, rack rate for this room will be charged.
